The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Warrington Assessment Centre is a ground floor assessment facility. It has three assessment rooms.

There is pay and display parking on Tanners Lane (WA2 7NA).

  • PIP Assessment for people claiming Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Work Capability Assessment for people claiming Universal Credit (UC)
  • Work Capability Assessment for people claiming Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Other benefit assessments for people claiming a range of benefits such as Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB), Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children or Veterans UK

Directions

Train

Warrington Central railway station is 0.1 miles away from the Assessment Centre.

Upon leaving the station, walk up Winwick Street past the railway station’s car park, then turn left onto Tanners Lane. Take the first right into Erwood Street for the Centre.

Car

Travel down the A49 Winwick Road towards the town centre. At the traffic lights, bear to the left onto Lythgoes Lane and drive towards the lights at the junction of Lythgoes Lane and Pinners Brow.

Turn into Pinners Brow. Take a right turn at the lights onto Tanners Lane. The car park is on your left.

Bus

The nearest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is Central bus station, less than 400 feet away.

Leave the bus station through the exit near the information desk. Turn onto Winwick Street and continue walking until you see Tannery Court on your left. Turn onto Tanners Lane, then take the first right onto Erwood Street for the Assessment Centre.
