The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Stirling Assessment Centre is a ground floor assessment facility. It has four assessment rooms.

Free parking is available on site. Blue Badge parking is also available.

Assessments offered

  • Work Capability Assessment for people claiming Universal Credit (UC)
  • Work Capability Assessment for people claiming Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Other benefit assessments for people claiming a range of benefits such as Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB), Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children or Veterans UK

Directions

Train

Stirling railway station is approximately 0.8 miles from the Assessment Centre.

Upon leaving the station, turn right onto Station Road then take a left onto Murray Place. Take another slight left onto Port Street and continue onto St Ninians Road. Stay on St Ninians Road until you reach The Woodlands bus stop, then take a right. The Assessment Centre is on the right.

Car

From Glasgow/Edinburgh

Leave the motorway at junction 9. Take the A872 following the brown tourist signs for Stirling Castle/Bannockburn Heritage Centre. At Boreston/St Ninians roundabout take the B8051 (left), which leads to St Ninians Road. Take a left turn for the Assessment Centre.

From north:

Leave the M9 Motorway at junction 10. Take the Stirling exit then follow the Ring Road/Castle Business Park Signs at the next two roundabouts. At the mini-roundabout, turn left (Dumbarton Road) and then take the first right onto Queens Road. Continue to follow signs for Ring Road/Stirling Royal Infirmary. At the traffic lights, turn right. The Assessment Centre is on the first right..
