The Health Assessment Advisory Service at St Helens Assessment Centre is a ground floor assessment facility. It has four assessment rooms.

There is no on-site parking for visitors. There is on-street parking. Pay and display parking is also available on Central Street (WA10 1UJ).

Work Capability Assessment for people claiming Universal Credit (UC)
Work Capability Assessment for people claiming Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
Other benefit assessments for people claiming a range of benefits such as Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB), Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children or Veterans UK

Directions

Train

St Helens Central train station is approximately 0.7 miles from the Assessment Centre.

Turn right out of the station, then turn left onto Corporation Street. Continue on Corporation Street, passing the town hall and courts on your right. At the mini-roundabout, turn right onto College Street. After the main set of traffic lights take the next left. The Assessment Centre will be on your left.

Car

From East Lancashire:

Take the A570 to St Helens town centre. At the roundabout, take the second left onto College Street. After the main set of traffic lights, take the first left onto Cowley Street. The Assessment Centre is on the left.

Bus

The nearest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is Swift Street, approximately 250 feet away.

Upon leaving the bus, walk towards Central Street, then continue onto Cowley Street. The Assessment Centre is on the left.
