Notes from this Centre

The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Runcorn Assessment Centre is a ground floor assessment facility. It has two assessment rooms.

Entry is through the glass or revolving doors. Please ring the doorbell if you need assistance. Assessment rooms are located opposite the large function room

Step-free access is available at the front entrance. There is an accessible toilet available.

Free parking is available in Car Park 1 (WA7 5TX), a short distance away. Disabled parking and a drop-off point are located outside the main entrance. If you don’t have a disabled badge, please leave a note indicating that you are attending a PIP consultation.

Directions

Train

Runcorn train station is approximately 1.4 miles from the Assessment Centre.

Upon leaving the station, go to the bus stop outside. From here, you can catch a bus to Heath Road. This bus stop is served by buses 3A, 3C, 61 and 82A.

After leaving the bus, go southwest on Heath Road and turn left into the Heath Business and Technical Park. Continue straight for 0.1 miles then turn right. The Assessment Centre is on the left.

Car

From Liverpool:

Cross the Runcorn and Widnes Bridge and follow the signs for Chester/A557.

Join the Weston Point Expressway/A557, then take the third exit, signposted as the Heath Business Park.

Follow the signs for approximately 0.5 miles. The Assessment Centre is on your right.

From Manchester:

Exit the M56 westbound at junction 12 and follow the signs for A557/Widnes.

Once you are on the Weston Point Expressway/A557, take the second exit, signposted as the Heath Business Park.

Follow the signs for approximately 0.5 miles. The Assessment Centre is on your right.

Bus

The closest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is Heath Road, approximately 0.25 miles away.

After leaving the bus, go southwest on Heath Road and turn left into the Heath Business and Technical Park. Continue straight for 0.1 miles then turn right. The Assessment Centre is on the left.

This bus stop is served by buses 3A, 3C, 61 and 82A.
