Notes from this Centre

The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Rotherham Assessment Centre is a ground and first floor assessment facility. It has two assessment rooms.

Please enter through the main door and go up the ramp to the reception.

If you think that you would have difficulty using the stairs, let us know when we call you. We can arrange for your assessment to take place in a ground floor room.

There is step-free access and an accessible toilet available.

On-street parking, including disabled parking, is available on Broad Street directly outside. Bear Tree Street (next to the Centre) can be used as a drop-off point. Additional parking is available in the large gravel car park on Hollybush Street (S62 6BG), approximately 250 metres away.

Train

Rotherham Central train station is approximately 2.1 miles from the Centre.

To connect from the station, follow the signs for Rotherham Interchange. From here, you can take a bus to Bear Tree Street on Broad Street.

This bus stop is served by bus 22x.

Car

From Rotherham town centre:

Take the A630, passing the Tesco Superstore on your right. At St Ann’s roundabout take the first exit onto the A633 towards the Parkgate Shopping Park.

Continue past the shopping park towards Rawmarsh, taking the second exit at Parkgate roundabout and straight onto Broad Street. The Assessment Centre is on the left.

Bus

The nearest bus stop is Bear Tree Street on Broad Street, approximately 0.1 miles from the Assessment Centre.

When leaving the bus head back down the hill, crossing Bear Tree Street. The Assessment Centre is on the right.

This bus stop is served by buses 8, 9, 22x and 221.
