Notes from this Centre
The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Oldham Assessment Centre is a ground and first floor assessment facility. It has seven assessment rooms.
Upon entering, turn left. The reception will be immediately on your right side.
If you think that you would have difficulty using the stairs, let us know when we call you. We can arrange for your assessment to take place in a ground floor room.
Ramp access is available at the side of the building. An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor.
There is one designated disabled parking bay at the front of the building. There is free parking available at the side of the building and on St Thomas’s Circle and St Thomas Street.

Train
There is no train station in Oldham.
Oldham King Street tram station is approximately 0.5 miles from the Assessment Centre.
As there are no direct connections, we recommend taking a taxi from outside the station. Please contact us before you travel so we can reimburse your taxi fare.
Car
Leave the M60 at junction 22, towards Oldham.
Go along Manchester Road/A62 towards Oldham for 0.7 miles.
Turn right onto Heron Street. After 0.3 miles, turn left onto Chamber Road. Then turn left onto Coppice Street and right again onto Wellington Road.
Turn left onto St Thomas Street. The Assessment Centre is on the left.
Bus
The nearest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is Coppice Street.
Upon leaving the bus, turn right onto Osborne Road, then turn right against onto St Thomas’s Circle. The Assessment Centre is on your right.
