The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Liverpool (Chelwood Avenue) Assessment Centre is a ground floor assessment facility. It has three assessment rooms.

There is a single step leading up to the main entrance. A ramp can be provided if needed – phone ahead or knock to get the attention of our reception team. An accessible toilet is available.

Free parking is available outside the local shops to the side and opposite of the Centre. Disabled parking and a drop-off point are located beside the main entrance, on the paved driveway.

Train

Broad Green train station is located approximately 0.5 miles from the Assessment Centre.

To get to the Assessment Centre, turn left out of the station and head towards the traffic lights. Cross over onto Bowring Park Road and continue straight until the next set of lights. Turn right into Chelwood Avenue. The Assessment Centre is on your right.

Car

From the M62:

Exit the M62 at junction 5 (Knotty Ash). At the roundabout, take the A5080 exit onto Bowring Park Road.

After 0.7 miles, turn left onto Chelwood Avenue. The Assessment Centre is on the right.

Bus

The nearest bus stop is at the junction between Bowring Park Road and Chelwood Avenue, a short distance from the Centre.
This stop is served by the 61 ‘Halton Travel’ bus.
