Notes from this Centre

The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Liverpool (Anfield) Assessment Centre is a ground and second floor assessment facility. It has 14 assessment rooms.

To enter, press the intercom at the main entrance on Pickering Street, located off Breckfield Road South.

If you think that you would have difficulty using the stairs, let us know when we call you. We can arrange for your assessment to take place in a ground floor room.

There is step-free access and an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Please be aware that the dropped kerb outside Anfield Business Centre is not completely flat.

There is a drop-off point and disabled parking directly outside the main entrance. Free parking is available directly behind Anfield Car Wash.

Directions

Train

Liverpool Lime Street train station is located approximately 1.9 miles from the Assessment Centre.

Upon leaving the station, follow the signs to Queen Square bus station approximately 0.2 miles away. From there, you may take a bus to Breck Road, the nearest bus station.

Upon leaving the bus, go south on Breckfield Road South and turn left before the Anfield Car Wash. The Assessment Centre is on your left.

The Breck Road bus stop is served by buses 14 and 15A.

Car

From Liverpool city centre:

Follow the signs for St Helens to go east on the A580. Continue onto the A5049.

After 0.4 miles, turn left onto Boundary Lane. After another 0.4 miles, continue onto Breckfield Road South and turn right onto Pickering Street for the Assessment Centre’s main entrance.

Bus

The nearest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is Breck Road, approximately 0.2 miles away.

Upon leaving the bus, go south on Breckfield Road South and turn left before the Anfield Car Wash. The Assessment Centre is on your left.

The Breck Road bus stop is served by buses 14 and 15A.
