Notes from this Centre

The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Keighley Assessment Centre is a second floor assessment facility. It has two assessment rooms.

The assessment centre can be accessed by lift but if an emergency evacuation of the building is required, such as a fire alarm, the lift cannot be used. There are 47 steps to the ground floor.

If you think that you would have difficulty going down the stairs in the event of an emergency or would need assistance from another person, please contact us before your appointment date so we can ensure that we provide support for you on the day.

Parking is available on Hanover Street (BD21 3QJ)

  • Other benefit assessments for people claiming a range of benefits such as Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB), Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children or Veterans UK

Directions

Train

Keighley train station is located 0.2 miles from the Assessment Centre.
Upon leaving the station, turn left and walk through the Inland Revenue entrance on the corner of Coney Lane junction with East Parade.

Car

From Shipley/Bradford:

Approach Keighley on the A650. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Bradford Road (A6035), heading towards the station. Continue along Bradford Road and East Parade, straight onto Worth Way. The Assessment Centre is on the left.

From Skipton:

Approach Keighley on the A629. At the roundabout, turn left towards Bradford on the A650. At the next roundabout, turn right onto Bradford Road (A6035), heading towards the station. Continue on East Parade and onto Worth Way. The Assessment Centre is on the left.

From Haworth:

Follow the Halifax Road (A629) to the traffic lights. Turn right into Worth Way and follow it round. The Assessment Centre is on the left.

Bus

The nearest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is Worth Way, less than 400 feet away from the Centre. Upon leaving the bus, walk up Worth Way and take a slight right to stay on the road. The Assessment Centre is on the right.
