The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Edinburgh (Argyle House) Assessment Centre is a ground floor facility. It has nine assessment rooms.
On-street paid parking is available on Lady Lawson Street and to the rear of the building on King’s Stables Road (EH1 2EW). There is no Blue Badge parking available on site.

- Work Capability Assessment for people claiming Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Other benefit assessments for people claiming a range of benefits such as Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB), Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children or Veterans UK

Directions
Train
The closest train station to the Assessment Centre is Haymarket station, which is approximately 0.8 miles away.
Upon leaving the station, walk along Morrison Street until you reach the junction at Lothian Road. Continue along Bread Street, then turn onto West Port. The Assessment Centre is on the left.
Car
Please follow signs for the city centre.
On-street pay parking is available adjacent to the Assessment Centre on Lady Lawson Street, and to the rear of the building on King’s Stables Road. There is also an NCP multi-storey car park on King’s Stables Road (EH1 2EW).
There is no Blue Badge parking available on site.
Bus
The nearest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is Bread Street, approximately 0.2 miles away.
After leaving the bus, walk down Bread Street towards Spittal Street. Continue onto West Port, then turn left onto Lady Lawson Street.
