Train
Durham train station is located approximately 0.9 miles away from the Assessment Centre.
Upon leaving the station, cross the road to the bus station. From here, catch a bus to St Oswald’s Church.
Leave the bus, walk down Oswald Street, then turn left onto Hallgarth Street. The Assessment Centre will be on the left.
Car
From A1:
At Follingsby Interchange, take the fifth exit onto the A194(M) slip road to Durham.
At junction 62, take the A690 exit to Sunderland/Durham/Consett/A691. At Carrville Interchange, take the third exit onto A690. At Gilesgate roundabout, take the third exit onto Leazes Road/A690. Turn left onto New Elvet, then a slight left onto Hallgarth Street. The Centre is on the right.
Bus
The nearest bus stop to the Centre is St Oswald’s Church, located 0.2 miles away. This bus stop is served by buses 6, 41 Cathedral Bus, 42, 56, 59 and X12 MAX.
Upon leaving the bus, walk down Oswald Street, then turn left onto Hallgarth Street. The Assessment Centre will be on the left.
