The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Chesterfield (Stubbing Road) Assessment Centre is a ground floor assessment facility. It has three assessment rooms.
Step-free access and accessible toilets are available.
There are five disabled parking spaces available directly outside the Centre, in the car park. Additional parking is available to the front and side of the building.

Train
Chesterfield train station is approximately 2.5 miles from the Assessment Centre.
As there are no direct connections, we recommend taking a taxi from outside the station. Please contact us before you travel to ensure that we can reimburse your taxi fare.
Car
From M1 (northbound):
Leave at junction 29 and follow towards Chesterfield. After five miles, turn left onto the A61 at the first roundabout.
Follow the A61 for two miles, then turn right onto Church Street South.
At the top of Church Street South, turn right and take a second left onto Birchwood Crescent. The Assessment Centre is at the top of Birchwood Crescent on Stubbing Road.
From M1 (travelling southbound):
Leave at junction 30 and follow the A619 toward Chesterfield. After four miles, turn right onto the A61 at the Tesco roundabout.
At the next roundabout, take the third exit for the A61. At the Chesterfield main roundabout, take the second exit for A61/Derby Road. Continue on the A61/Derby Road and two miles after Chesterfield town centre, turn right onto Church Street South. At the top of Church Street South, turn right and take a second left onto Birchwood Crescent. The Assessment Centre is at the top of Birchwood Crescent on Stubbing Road.
From Sheffield (A61):
From Meadowhead (Norton), take the A61/Chesterfield Road to the first roundabout and take the third exit onto the A61 Dronfield bypass.
At the next roundabout, take the third exit for the A61. At the Chesterfield main roundabout, take the second exit for A61/Derby Road. Continue on the A61/Derby Road and two miles after Chesterfield town centre, turn right onto Church Street South. At the top of Church Street South, turn right and take a second left onto Birchwood Crescent. The Assessment Centre is at the top of Birchwood Crescent on Stubbing Road.

The nearest bus stop is Church Street South, approximately 0.2 miles from the Assessment Centre.
From here, go along Grangewood Road to Birchwood Crescent. The Assessment Centre is at the top of the Birchwood Crescent on Stubbing Road.
