Notes from this Centre

The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Chester (Riverside House) Assessment Centre is a ground floor assessment facility. It has two assessment rooms.

The reception is at the front of the building. If entering from the rear, pass the kitchen and waiting area and the reception will be on your left. If reception is closed, please go to the waiting area and use the intercom next to the TV to tell us you have arrived.

There is step-free access at the rear of the building. An accessible toilet is available.

There is free parking directly outside the Centre. Disabled parking is at the rear of the building, and a drop-off point is located outside the main entrance.

Directions

Train

Chester train station is located approximately 3.0 miles from the Assessment Centre.

Upon leaving the station, go to the bus stop directly outside. The number 4 bus, which leaves from Stop S4, can be taken to Saltney High Street, approximately 0.4 miles from the Assessment Centre.

Car

Leave the A55 at junction 38. Continue towards Chester passing the Chester Business Park and the Grosvenor Nuffield Hospital.

At the Overleigh Roundabout take the second exit to join the A51404 towards Saltney. Continue along Chester Street.

Pass under the railway bridge and then take your next right, turn at the junction onto River Lane. Go under the bridge, follow the road left and continue past The Old Pallet Yard.

Take your next left into Sandyford Properties. On entering the complex, turn right at the noticeboard on the right. The Assessment Centre is located directly in front of you in Riverside House.

Bus

The closest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is on Saltney High Street, approximately 0.4 miles from the consultation centre.

To reach the Assessment Centre, go past Farmfoods to the junction with Morrisons and the Corner Pin Pub and turn onto Bridge Street.

Go to the bridge, past Wizz Kids on your right. Head around the fencing until you reach the gated entrance to Riverside House.

The Saltney High Street bus stop is served by buses 3 and 4.
