Parking is available nearby, off York Street (CH1 3LY), approximately 0.1 miles away. There is a drop-off point at the barrier to the car park.

Directions

Train

Chester train station is approximately 0.4 miles away from the Assessment Centre. Upon leaving the station, walk up City Road. At the end of City Road, use the subway to access the roundabout. The front door to the Centre is on the outside of the courtyard. It is opposite the Sleepy Panda restaurant. Walk up the wheelchair ramp to the front door.

Car

From A483:
From the Overleigh Road roundabout, drive north-east towards Brown’s Lane. Continue onto Handbridge, then turn onto Lower Bridge Street. Turn right onto Pepper Street, then use any lane to turn right onto Foregate Street. Continue along Foregate Street, then turn right onto The Bars. The Assessment Centre is on the right.

Bus

The Assessment Centre is 0.3 miles from the bus station. When leaving the station, turn left onto Frodsham Street, then turn right onto Brookdale Place. Turn right onto St Oswalds Way(A5268), then after 0.2 miles take the subway, which takes you to the front of the Assessment Centre in Grosvenor Court – take the wheelchair ramp to the front door.

There is a bus stop opposite the Assessment Centre, and nearby on Foregate Street.
