The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Bolton (Holland Street) Assessment Centre is a ground and first floor assessment facility. It has five assessment rooms.
Please buzz the intercom when you arrive, and our reception team will let you in.
If you think that you would have difficulty using the stairs, let us know when we call you. We can arrange for your assessment to take place in a ground floor room.
When you arrive, there are six steps and a handrail at the entrance. If you need a ramp, please use the rear entrance through the garage, on Holland Street. Accessible toilets are available inside the Centre.
Free on-street parking is available. Disabled parking is available to the side of the building on Holland Street. There is one covered parking bay inside the building itself, which is clearly signposted.

Directions
Train
Hall i’th’ Wood train station is approximately 1.0 mile from the Assessment Centre.
As there are no direct connections, we recommend taking a taxi from outside the station. Please contact us before you travel to ensure your taxi fare will be reimbursed.
Alternatively, the 527 bus leaves every two hours from the Bolton Interchange, which is a short walk from the rail station.
National Rail advises that this station is inaccessible to wheelchair users.
Car
From A58:
From Bolton town centre, travel towards Astley Bridge/Bromley Cross. Follow the A666 to the A58 junction. With the ASDA superstore on your left, turn right onto the A58. The Assessment Centre is on the left, 50 metres from the junction.
Bus
The nearest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is the Pineapple Stop F, directly outside the Lidl supermarket.
This stop is served by buses 1, 525, 527, 535 and 537.
Once off the bus, turn left. The Assessment Centre is less than 100m on the right.
