The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Birkenhead Assessment Centre is a ground floor assessment facility with four assessment rooms. Disabled access is available.

Parking (with meter charge) is available outside the building. Limited disabled parking is also available here.

  • Other benefit assessments for people claiming a range of benefits such as Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB), Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children or Veterans UK

Directions

Train

Hamilton Square train station is approximately 0.2 miles from the Assessment Centre. From the station, turn right onto Hamilton Street. Take the path through Hamilton Square before crossing over the junction onto Price Street. The Assessment Centre is approximately 100 metres further up this street on the left, inside the Jobcentre Plus building.

Car

From the M53, turn off at Dock exit (last exit before Wallasey Tunnel) onto the Dock Road and head for Birkenhead town centre and Hamilton Square.

Bus

The nearest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is Hamilton Lane, approximately 77 yards from the Assessment Centre. After leaving the bus, turn on to Price Street. The Assessment Centre is inside the Jobcentre Plus building.
