Notes from this Centre

The Health Assessment Advisory Service at Aberdeen Assessment Centre is a ground floor assessment facility with five assessment rooms.

There is limited on-street parking available on Chapel Street. A multi-storey car park is situated on the corner of Huntley and Chapel Street (AB10 1TF).

Please note, there is no on-site Blue Badge parking available.

  • Work Capability Assessment for people claiming Universal Credit (UC)
  • Work Capability Assessment for people claiming Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Other benefit assessments for people claiming a range of benefits such as Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB), Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children or Veterans UK

Directions

Train

There is one train station in Aberdeen, located approximately 0.6 miles from the Assessment Centre.

Upon leaving the station, exit the station onto Guild Street, then turn right onto Bridge Street, before taking a left onto Union Street.

Continue along to the end of Union Street. The Assessment Centre is on the right side, just before Holborn junction.

Car

From A90:

Go north on Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/A90. At Craibstone roundabout, take the third exit on to the A96. Then at Bucksburn roundabout, take the second exit to stay on the A96.

Take the third exit at the next roundabout onto the A92, then take the first exit at the following roundabout onto Rosehill Drive. Turn right onto Hilton Drive.

At Six Roads roundabout, take the third exit onto Westburn Drive. Continue, then take a right into Victoria Street. Turn left onto Alford Place, then use the left lane to turn left onto Union Street. The Assessment Centre is on the left.

Bus

The nearest bus stop to the Assessment Centre is Holburn Junction, approximately 300 feet away.

Upon leaving the bus, walk up the street towards Holburn Street, then turn left onto Union Street. The Assessment Centre is on the left.
